The Classic Watch

Sometimes the best accessory is not a bracelet, a necklace, or a ring, but a simple watch. They're classic, they never go out of style, and you'll always be on time.

Er... scratch the last one.

I personally think a watch looks best when its worn by itself, and on the left wrist. That way it's the centre of attention; and for those of you who prefer not to wear bracelets for modesty reasons, it's the perfect way to accessorize without being over-the-top.

Watches are also good because you can suit them to different outfits. This is a more casual one that would look great during the day, but if you want to step it up a little for fancier occasions, go for a more shiny and sleek look, like the one below:

I love how this watch looks like a bracelet, too. I even love the little diamond inside. And although this one is quite expensive, Guess has a similar design for less than one-third of the price here.

The best thing I love about watches is that you can be any age and pull one off. Whether you're in your teens, twenties, or forties, watches always look elegant and chic (depending on their style), and spruce up an outfit even if it's just jeans and an old sweater.

Not to mention - they make great gifts!
